Since we began operating in February, 1999, we have served well over 10,000 women. It takes substantial funding to keep our doors open and serve the low-income women of our community. With the current state of the economy, the demand for our services has increased significantly. Our services are a life-line to the many disadvantaged women in the Portland metro area (a majority are single mothers) who are struggling to get a job to support themselves and their families.
