                                              Going Places Network

As part of a national grant from the Walmart Foundation, Dress for Success Oregon launched the Going Places Network by Walmart in 2011. The Going Places Network by Walmart helps unemployed and under-employed Dress for Success clients gain professional skills, accelerate their job search and build confidence through weekly training sessions, one-on-one career coaching and networking in a supportive environment.

The program serves as a “safety net” for women who are referred to our Suiting Program and Career Center at the beginning of their job search, but do not immediately land a job. With the addition of the Going Places Network by Walmart, disadvantaged women will have access to support and services for every phase of their professional lives, starting with the job search and leading to sustained employment and self-sufficiency.
