SUIT DRIVES
Suit drives are a great way for the women in your office to clean out their closets AND help other women. This year we’re asking our suit drive participants to Tuck $10 in the pocket of their suit/clothing donation to help us purchase items needed for our clients including shoes, hosiery, and undergarments. Our goal is to help our clients build a basic wardrobe for work developed from 5 key pieces. These 5 key pieces include a combination of neutral colored suits, jackets, slacks, skirts, sweaters and blouses. Encourage your employees to donate women’s suits and separates (in excellent condition). Remind employees to donate items that would be appropriate to wear to an interview or to work in an office environment. We ask that all donations be clean and ready to wear.
Follow these easy steps to set up a successful Suit Drive:
1. Choose the date(s) for your company’s Suit Drive and call Dress for Success Oregon for Suit Drive Materials (503-249-7300).
2. Use the sample e-mail and poster/flyers provided by Dress for Success Oregon to let co-workers know about the Suit Drive.
3. During the week of the suit drive, arrange to have:

3. During the week of the suit drive, arrange to have:
- An empty coat rack where collected suit donations can be hung and a large box where collected interview appropriate accessories can be stored.
- Copies of the Donation form (provided by Dress for Success Oregon). Please have the donor complete this form which will be her receipt for both clothing and Tuck Ten donations (White Copy to Dress for Success Oregon).
4. Contact Dress for Success Oregon to arrange for delivery of donations.
